Astro-Vastu

Astro-Vastu brings the occupant into the reading: it takes real birth details, reads the chart, and relates the person's placements to the directions and elements of the dwelling as the classical Vastu tradition correlates them.

Two readings, one household

A house can be read on its own, and most Vastu tools do exactly that. The classical Vastu tradition also keeps a second thread: the people who live in the house have their own chart, and the directions, elements and planetary lords that matter most differ from person to person. Astro-Vastu puts the two readings side by side, so the same floor plan can be weighed for the actual family that occupies it.

What the tool does

You enter real birth details — date, time and place — and the tool computes the birth chart rather than estimating it from the date alone. It then lays the chart's placements against the dwelling's directions and elements, following the correspondences the tradition keeps between planets, signs and the eight directions. The output is a correlation to reflect on, presented as tradition, not as a measured fact about the occupant.

How practitioners use this

Practitioners reach for Astro-Vastu when a standard reading leaves a tie to break: two equally workable bedrooms, two entrance options, a home office that could face either way. The occupant's chart gives a principled way to prefer one, and the reasoning can be written into the client report under the practitioner's own name, with the correspondence stated openly so the client sees how the conclusion was reached.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the exact birth time?

The closer the better. The tool works from the details you give and says what it used; a vague time weakens the chart-side of the reading.

Is this predictive?

No. It states traditional correspondences between a chart and a dwelling for reflection; it does not forecast events or promise outcomes.

Whose chart should a family use?

Practice varies; many practitioners read the chart of each main occupant for the rooms that person uses most, and say so in the report.
