Paramasayika 9x9

Paramasayika is the nine-by-nine mandala: eighty-one padas carrying the forty-five Devtas — thirty-two around the rim, twelve within, and Brahma across the central three-by-three — the definitive grid for residential Vastu.

The Paramasayika mandala

If one grid stands for the whole classical system, it is this one. On the eighty-one padas the tradition seats its forty-five Devtas: thirty-two outer deities along the rim, twelve inner deities in the middle band, and Brahma holding the central three-by-three. Every pada therefore has a name, a presiding deity and a character — the richest reading the mandala series offers.

The grid and its centre

The tool draws the eighty-one padas over your plan at your north angle and names each pada's Devta from the canonical forty-five-Devta layout — the same frozen layout the free 45 Devtas page introduces, never a variant table. Tap any point and the reading gives its pada, its presiding Devta and whether it falls within Brahma's central three-by-three, with the classical basis quoted beside the result.

How practitioners use this

This is the grid most client work ends on. Practitioners map every room and entrance to its pada and Devta, weigh mismatches between a pada's character and the use placed on it, and build the room-by-room chapter of the report — under their own name — directly from the tool's pada readings.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the forty-five Devtas come from?

From the canonical layout the practice keeps as frozen reference data; the tool quotes it and never substitutes a variant.

How large is Brahma's area here?

The central three-by-three — nine padas — as the tradition assigns on this grid; the reading marks containment exactly.

Do I need this grid for every project?

No; coarser mandalas answer coarser questions. Paramasayika is for the full deity-level reading of a dwelling.

Free to read, licensed to run

This page is open to every reader in English and Hindi, so the Paramasayika mandala can be studied freely. The interactive calculator — which lays the grid over your own plan at your north angle and reads any point you tap — runs with the Practitioner licence.

The classical basis appears with each calculation result, quoted from the practice's source records.
