Pancha Bhuta

Pancha Bhuta maps the five elements — water, fire, earth, air and space — onto the directions of your home and checks whether what stands in each zone agrees with its element.

Five elements, eight directions, one centre

The classical Vastu tradition reads all matter as five elements and seats each in the plan: water in the north-east, fire in the south-east, earth in the south-west, air in the north-west, and space at the open centre. The map is the tradition's deepest layer — the zones, the grids and the room rules are all elaborations of it. An activity placed in a zone either feeds that zone's element or fights it, and most of what the tradition calls a defect is such a fight: fire in the water corner, weight in the corner of space.

What the tool computes

Enter your facing degree and what occupies each zone — kitchen, bath, storage, bedroom — and the tool matches each occupant's elemental nature against the zone's seated element, reporting agreement, neutrality or conflict, with the principle behind each verdict. The classical basis appears with the result, quoted from the practice's source records.

How to use this tool

Start from the four corners, where the elements sit strongest: what is in your north-east, south-east, south-west, north-west. Enter the facts and read the matches. Where a conflict is reported, the tool names the elemental pair involved; the Colour and material and Balancers pages carry the tradition's ways of softening such pairs.

FAQ

Q. Is one element more important than the others? The tradition treats the water and fire corners as the most sensitive to mixing, but the balance of all five is the goal.

Q. Where does space live? At the centre — which is why the Brahmasthan is kept open.

Q. Can a conflict ever be left alone? The reading grades severity; minor conflicts are often moderated by material and colour rather than demolition.
